Disturbingly accurate dreams??

Okay first of all I want to say that I hate being normal. Just the thought of being part of the crowd makes me... I don't know... nervous I guess... but I do want to know about these things that have been happening recently. Ill start off with what I can remember the most... dreams.
I'm pretty sure that if you fall asleep with the tv on an audile volume, or if you do something all day like at a certain game, chances are you'll dream about it. but what about presictions? about two weeks ago I had a dream. I was driving home and made a turn but flipped my jeep. I was unharmed and got out. that's when I woke up. That dream was extremly realistic down to the jacket and my two knives in my right jacket pocket. here's the thing....the next day, a pulley breaks and the power steering goes out on the jeep in the EXACT spot the It was flipped in the dream. Coincidence?

Another night I dreamed of my girlfriend in Georgia. I woke her up and we went to the mall. This guy started to hit on her so I kicked his butt out the store (*grins*) then there was something about a fire and we kissed and I woke up. I texted her to tell her about it. Here's the wierd part. I woke her up, just like in my dream. I was also able to perfectly identify the type and color of her phone, which I've never seen nor has she told me about it. I also correctly told her what position she was in when I woke her up. Coincidence?

Basically i'd like to know... is it normal for this to happen?

That actually happens to me all the time...and i've heard of it happening to other people be for...some consider it just Déjà vu and others consider it to be some kind of 6th sense...either way I'm pretty sure its more than just a coincidence

    Cool.^^
However, I assume that some of them were only coincidental. But then again it's hard to tell. Yet, you go dude. I think that's really cool. Just don't die. :)

Dude. Your only allowed one flash forward and it last two minutes and seventeen seconds( reference to a tv show "flash forward") but your subconcious probally realised something wrong with your breaks and calculated what might happen

I'm not sure if it's normal or not. I've don't think I've had it happen personally but I know my brother and my best friend and dogs do stuff like that all the time. Sooo, yeah. Actually pretty sure it's normal ^^

I usually don't believe in anything unscientific, but perhaps there is something to this...

It is a gift. The bible says god talks to us in our dreams. I have had this off and on, but not so accurate until I had a dream. more of an angel that came to tell me of my mom's death and 5 more family members. It spooked me. I now try to listen to my dreams more. Sometiems they can make you upset. It may come and go.

Yea. I was watching 700 Club one day. It was really moving.

Very rare... It's a gift in many ways, and you can use it to your advantage, so that's pretty neat. Many of us do have 'premonitions', but they're not always as accurate as you say your dreams are. Good luck, and hope you have pleasant dreams always!

I think it's very normal. The same thing happens to me sometimes. My bf and I have even had the same dream before

They are called premonitions. I'd say it's a pretty good thing to be able to have in some situations and not good in others. But just remember that if you dream you are going to die, don't bother trying to stop it because whatever you do, like staying inside all the time or telling somebody, that thing that you *think* you are doing differently is not different. It's all about fate my friend.

I know exactly what you mean I have dreams that come true like that all the time. I'd say its pretty normal. I just try to stay away from any of the dangerous ones and let other people know about the ones I had if they were involved.

I always have predictive dreams, its not deja vu, its completely different like I had a dream about my brother being shot, and although in real life this never happened, I told my flatmate this dream and she just said call him so i did and he told me he was in a bit of trouble and got punched that day at school by another boy. This is only a rubbish example but I totally know what you;re saying and it is normal in the sense that you're not strange but i dont think everyone has gift. I think its a bit of a gift in some circumstances!

My friend thinks I do have some special gifts and this may be one of them. I'll post some questions about some others when I have the chance.
