Distancing myself
Whenever I want to end a relationship, I tend to distance myself from that person. I don't like to come right out and confront them or really tell them how I feel. I've done this many times. Is it normal?

It's normal unfortunately. Just tell the guy/girl and get it over with. You'd be hurting that person's feelings even more by not saying anything.
I know the exact same feeling, I tend to distance myself first so I can feel more secure about doing it, and see if I am doing the right thing. I mean sometimes I do it so that they dump me, in the hope of not hurting them.
This is normal, but it's not very nice lol. I do the same thing, even to friends of mine; whenever I want them out of my life, I tend to simply remove myself from theirs. It's been messy, especially with some people who enjoy closure and insist on confronting me about it :/
I must say that I feel like an absolute jerk whenever I act like this, so I usually deserve negative reactions.
