Dirty money...iin?

I was counting my same way facing cash money and when I got to sixty-nine, the bill was flipped. I chuckled and thought ohh you silly dirty money, maybe things will be ok in the world after all. But whose world?! Maybe they weren't sure how much time they had left in the wallet world, which is located on buttcheek left sector, I mean I'm almost the only person who i know that strictly uses cash. Hmm. To ponder, discuss. Leave, I don't care. True story. Such whirled.

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

Get a money clip and give that cash a front pocket adventure!

It costs me anywhere from 7% to 22% in international transaction fees if I use my card out here, so I do a large cash advance and then spend cash. It means walking around with large amounts of cash in 3rd world countries, but I'm not at all uncomfortable doing that in most places. Now, in the states it would be a completely different matter.

American money is so confusing. It all looks the same :( I need to be supervised when i use it cos I don't know what I'm doing.

But I prefer using card over here, too, even though I understand the money.

I used to not have a bank account, and that was bad and really had me living paycheck to paycheck bcuz if you have cash, ur a lot more likely gonna spend it, and by the end of the 2 weeks, i'm taking back cans to get a gallon of milk! On the other hand, with a bank account, if you inadvertently overdraft, that can REALLY SUCK! Either way you get screwed.

  • I hate the concept of cards. I use cash because it is tangable and real. I personally do not trust the banks and will unlikely ever get a credit card, although I do have a debit card. I dont even like the debit card but I need it to get my cash.

I hardly have cash - I mostly use my card and phone to pay for items.

However I am going to the US and I have been advised to take a bit of cash which involved me clearing the receipts out of the cash part of my wallet.

Cash is great. Everyone accepts it and its users can't be tracked.

    • I don't travel unfortunately and my large purchases aren't really that large. If I don't have the cash for said purchase, then I don't have enough money for it. I don't do credit. It can't be trusted. Same with banks. No sir.

    • I love loose change. I like to pay with exact cash and coins whenever possible. Makes me feel a little fuzzy inside.
