Different sexual pracsises in the middle east?
I know a girl from the middle east, more specifically Lebanon. She grew up in a liberal family, she never had to wear hijab, were allowed to have friends outside of her religion, and after she moved out, were allowed to have boyfriends and sex before marriage. She got her schooling at the university. But once my girlfriend got to know her really well, she told her about some shocking details about her family life. I really don't know what to make of this.
The thing is, in order to express gratitude and appreciation for her father, she was made to dress pretty and put on make up for him, go to his bedroom to lie on her side, kiss and cuddle with him ... and letting him have an anal intercourse with her. The older sister had been doing it for years, so when hinted it was her turn, she felt like she had no choice. Laying on her side, she was kissed and stroked, and given the details of what would take place. Her butt was dressed naked and lubed up, and she was told to be brave. Looking back she got a glimpse of the erection, and thought it would kill her at first. As it was, he was gentle putting it in, and completed what he had in mind. After he was done, she was given time to recover, and sent out of the room as if nothing had happened.
This continued for as long as she lived home. At most, he would do it with both her and the elder sister weekly. It was always the same, laying on her side, getting her hair kissed and made to cuddle, only her butt being penetrated. It wasn't considered real sex, as she was still seen as a virgin. But it was of course hushed down and treated with secrecy. The wife in the house had full knowledge of what was going on. She got so used to it, it wasn't really discomforting for her, just a sort of invasion of her privacy. She would just lay there resigned and wait for him to finish. After she moved, she was never required to do the same thing again.
Now I realize there are cultural differences. But technically, he had sexual intercourse with his daughters. Since it was more or less accepted in their culture (although hushed down) the girl claims she took no damage from it either. I just think it's wrong for it to pass so easily, since it then could happen in future generations. How should I see this?
