My dad when I was a kid wouldn't let me make homemade videos at night on our street because he was worried about neighbors. Our neighborhood of Stokesdale, NC, was usually quiet and everyone minded there own buissness. The street we lived on was also hardly ever used. Was he overeacting.

You were 5 years old. How could you have possibly made an accurate judgement of safety, regarding how safe your neighbors were?
