Did i do anything wrong in this situation?
I feel like I should of just wrote a note and for some reason feel like a "tattler" for telling the supervisor this which I'm friends with. He always makes sure that everything is going alright in the kitchen and is rather helpful. :)
I'm an AM Cook in a kitchen and I fill in for the other AM Cook's days off. But Friday I was serving sausage gravy and biscuits for breakfast. When breakfast was pretty much done one of the servers came to have some breakfast and I was standing next to her. She grabbed a biscuit out of the container and it had mold on it. The other AM Cook had it labeled that he made them the other day. When I was serving them I never had seen any mold on them. I felt awful that I served them. You should NEVER serve something like that.
But a few days later which was today I ended up saying something about it to the supervisor of that kitchen which this place has 5 kitchens. I was going to write a note to the AM Cook but the supervisor said he would say something about it to the Cook.
