Desperate to leave the uk
Hi I am 17 and I am desperate to leave the UK and have been ever since I was a child. I would really desire to go to the US or Canada as the people seem much kinder and less obsessed with money. Is this normal?

US? Nice? Not obsessed with money? lel. Yeah come on over we'll take gooooood care of you >:3
Hmm, out of curiosity, what part of the UK do you come from? I don't think we're particularly obsessed with money. I've heard Canada and UK are fairly similar in terms of politics. I'm surprised that you thin the US is less obsessed with money. But anyway, if you do plan on moving, that will cost a lot (sorry to talk about money, typical UKer!)
Maybe go to one of those camps where you work and they give you somewhere to stay and give you pocket money?
every first world country is like that. Americans go to England on holiday cos they think it's all nice cottages and English pubs and chimney sweeps etc
You really are a prepubescent girl, aren't you? Your reference to Marry Poppins is rather telling.
Don't you think there are chimney sweeps in every country that has chimneys?
Only someone with no class at all would bring someone's spouse into this sort of conversation. What has she ever said or done to deserve your wrath?
Whether you are a prepubescent girl or just a retarded idiot, you are a person of very low character and of little consequence to anyone on this planet. Your parents sure did a lousy job of teaching you what character and class are.
Not gonna lie, I would rather live in a house in Iraq made out of dried shit and get shot at by terrorists every day than live in England. Just my opinion though.
Well you might need to do some research before you decide to make the big leap.
Gosh i love UK people's accents. I wonder if the British think the same about american accents
Less obsessed with money in the U.S? HAHAHAHAHHAHAHA!!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!!! YOU'RE TOO FUNNY!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
The grass ALWAYS looks greener on the other side of the fence.
I'm not saying I disagree with you; I doubt I could live in the UK. The idea of big brother's intrusiveness to the extent it exists in the UK, just creeps the shit out of me. CCTV and all that; how Orwellian.
Generally, I think you'll find the south to be more friendly than the north, until you get to Texas. Texas is really a foreign country masquerading as a state for the present.
California used to be the home of the lunatic fringe in the US, but now it's just a suburb of Tijuana.
Canadians, on the other hand, are all squeezed in between the US and the tundra, so they've had to learn to be nice to one another because their country is actually only a tiny strip of habitable land.
