I'd like to know your personal, hard thought way to describe what Facebook is to you. To me Facebook is an internet site which features various profile pictures and comments, each attached to a different individual who may or may not only be on the site constantly seeking validation and approval for his or her otherwise meaningless existence.
A social media site that has been dead for quite some time, I don't have much use for it anymore, yet people still use that site. I stopped using it because my parents and grandparents wouldn't stop spamming pictures.
Nothing much really. I pretty much just share songs I like and occasionally update my profile photo, no one I know writes status updates either. Not often anyway. I think very few people use Facebook anymore, most just use Messenger but Facebook has some good features such as private groups of various kinds. If it weren't for some of said groups i'd probably never use it, just Messenger.
I have a Facebook account, but I don't use it because I'm an underachiever, and I'm ashamed of how much I have failed to achieve in my life.
I'm on it mostly for the groups I'm in. Motorcycle and car groups, foodie stuff, bands, etc. I honestly don't care much about old friends I went to school or worked with's kids or vacations. I do appreciate good memes, but I'm pretty moderate politically so too much ranting about that gets muted for 30 days. Most of the people I actually spend time with aren't really active on social media.
Facebook is a social media site just to be nosey, alot of people post for attention (they live for the likes), and used for boredom. I only go on fb to post a pic (from Instagram). I dont even scroll on there anymore.
