OMG....Men are idiots!!!!! I have been married to my husband for 12 years and I am so tired of him constantly telling me how many times he was hit on and gawked at by girls/women at the airport, the gas station, wherever. I work with the public and am hit on every single day of my life and so what....who cares, I don't tell anyone about it. If these insecure girls/women want this insecure alcoholic man that they think is so hot and charming....go for it girls...after he has spent MY money on you and comes home, he passes out and pisses and slobbers all over himself. and guess what...next day it's all my fault because I won't hang out with his alcoholic/abusive ass and babysit him. So just know girls that hot guy at the bar with no car...his wife dropped him off so she wouldn't have to deal with him . I wonder how many people reading this will see themselves on both sides of this story and this is the total truth. I'm tired of living it, so come on girls...he can piss on your furniture or in your bed this weekend!!!! Also know this guy at the bar is alone because he is an alcoholic and no one else wants to hang out with him. My husband is in AA, 6 months sober and just had to go have himself some fun, but what he got out of it this time is a divorce....have fun with him.....not my problem anymore, oh and now he doesn't have any money either because although I am a self supporting woman, I put his ass through college and am taking half of everything, mainly because he is a drunk and has put me through mental torment for years!!! Is it normal for men to be this stupid?

    You really have anger issues.

    Generalizing "men" as a whole is unfair not only to the men, but to yourself.

    Have you considered counseling? Think about how much time you're wasting hating your husband.

    Your words remind me of my first wife. We've been divorced for nearly 20 years and sometimes I think she still hates me. I did have affairs when we were married just to escape her terrible attitude. I know it wasn't right, but nothing made her happy. Funny, now nearly 20 years later, she STILL hates men!

    I know I need Alanon.....I just had to vent! He was a drunk before I married him, but I didn't realize it...I just thought he was young and wanted to party, he is 10 years younger than me. Thanks for that advice.

    You should go to an Al-Anon meeting (to discuss your situation in an appropriate setting and to deal with some of your rage) and stop enabling him.

    Was he a drunk before or after you got married? What do you think drove him to drink? Did he go through some sort of trauma or harassment? People usually don't become boozers as a lifestyle choice, it's usually to cover up some underlying issue.
