Day dream about fighting

One of my favorite movies is Fight Club. I love fighting, watching it, especially when it's glorified. I love it in movies, as well books. It doesn't have to be bloody. My favorite scene in Sherlock Holmes is when he is boxing. I'm a big fan of Guy Riche because of the fighting scenes. I love fighting and being hurt, but I hate pain.
I want a black eye, I don't want the pain involved. I want a broken arm, don't want to suffer. I want to fight people. Not arguing though I hate arguing. I love rugby and boxing. Tried sports, it didn't exactly work out.
I also day dream about getting in physical fights with people (hate and don't hate).
I have been told I have an angry streak in me by a lot of people, even friends.
The more I go on in Life I want to fight.
What's happening to me!?

It's a very normal (and definitely a guy thing) to think about fighting on a regular basis. I practice mixed martial arts and I wouldn't give it up for the world because it's the greatest outlet I've ever had. I love fight movies, fight books, and I day dream about it all the time. If you actually want to do it, I recommend joining a boxing or mma gym if there's one close to you. It couldn't hurt to try. :)

It seems normal, to me. The bit about you wanting injuries but not wanting the pain makes me think. It's like those injuries are a sign or a trophy, you know, that you are a fighter, a HERO, which you want. And yeah, I wouldn't want the pain that comes with it either.

If you ever read chuck poloniac's (is that how it is spelled) novel "Fight Club" you would find at the end he divulges where the idea came from. He informs us that he took the idea from gang members who used violence as a form of initiation into a gang. YOung men (and increasingly more women) are teeming with hormones during adolescence and young adulthood. It may stem from our evolutionary biology to instigate procreation (The biggest, baddest asshole lives long enough to mate). However, there is substantial evidence supporting that involving a child in sports make them less likely to do drugs, join gangs or act out. Me personally... I get drunk and bare knuckle box anyone willing to take me... but i'm an idiot.

I think most guys think of that too (i'm not a guy) but i kinda want this to happen to me too ,and i want to get hurt but NO BLOOD , and i always daydream of someone trying to buckle me and i fight them off and then they hit me a bit but i win :) .and i really want to feel what it's like to get hurt in a fight.. i may never was in a fight but i'm a tough cookie and i feel like i can handle anything.
