he's been trying so hard to be a rock star for like 20 years, he's only talented at drums and also his foo fighters band sucks.

He does just fine now. He wasn't just a drummer back in the day. He wrote songs and played other instruments as well but was sort of intimidated by Cobain so he kept it all fairly private.
How about you just don't listen to the Foo Fighters and find something worthwhile to bitch about, mmkay?
Oh, and for the record, no I'm not a huge Foo fan but good grief child. Get over it.
