I just found out that last year, my ex-wife was encouraging my daughter to have sex with her boyfriend. I'm seriously thinking of calling child protective services or going to court for full custody.
I suggest you talk to your ex-wife to co-parent your child. I'm not sure how you heard about this "encouragement", but it could have simply been your Ex having "the talk" with your daughter. Which is why you should be more involved in the co-parenting... it can give your daughter a different perspective about sex, losing virginity, and having a healthy relationship. A father's advice is just as valid as a mother's.
Now, as far as filing for full-custody based on this "encouragement" claim... well, that's really not going to get you too far. Seriously, do you really think a Judge is going to listen to a topic that you haven't even discussed with your Ex? He'll probably tell the 2 of you to get out of his courtroom, and go do some parenting. Plus, the age of losing virginity, or being sexually active in any way is different for each person.
Since this supposedly happened last year, your daughter has probably been sucking and fucking her bf for some time now. Maybe she's had multiple partners - maybe even girls too (which is normal to experiment with same-sex intimacy).
Your daughter's biological and emotional development, and sexual interest and activity is normal for a teen her age. So, your focus should be on educating your daughter to have a physically and emotionally safe and healthy sex life - because that is what matters most to a teen entering adulthood. Grow-up, stop whining, and be a parent.

I'm in my mid-30's and I lost my virginity at 14... my aunt who is 61 lost her virginity at 13, and my mom 57 lost her virginity at 15. I also have a male friend who is 39, lost his virginity when he was 12 (almost 13) to his 12 year old gf; and another female friend who lost her virginity at 17. So, 14 is a normal age for sexual activity/ losing virginity.
You are correct that for the majority of sexually active people... ANYONE (regardless of age) first does oral sex - well, 1st kissing, then oral, then full sex. THAT'S just how sexual activity is - you gotta get comfortable with the car before you hop in and drive it. The average age is actually 17-18 for men and women in the U.S. Don't base statistics off of what is around you.
HEY, I didn't base an "average age" off of what's around me. This site is: Is It Normal. SO, I gave examples of what is normal for teens to lose their virginity.
NOW, let's talk about that average. It is and AVERAGE, which means there are some older than 17-18, and some younger... BUT ALL NORMAL AGES.
SO, don't misread my comment, add to it, and then misrepresent it with your comment.
My point was that there are more girls that are sexually active. As a former teacher and school administrator, I saw more and more girls not only engaging in sex over the years, but much more open about it. One 13 year old girl told me about "eating out" her friend in the girls restroom which had caused a fight with one of her other friends, thus my intervention. I realize girls have been sexually active at a young age for generations, just not nearly as many as what we see today, and certainly they weren't as open about it as girls are today.

Yeah, the reason you saw more girls engaging in sex over the years... it's that girls were more and more open about it over the years. I mean, I'm sure you didn't spend personal time with ALL the girls at your school in ALL those years (of course you didn't). BUT, you did hear the girls talking about it at school more and more.
When I was in high school we didn't talk to our teachers about our sex lives. BUT nowadays, it isn't so taboo to talk about it - especially with a grown-up like a teacher (it's actually encouraged to talk with teachers now).
SO, there really isn't a higher number of sexually active teens... and not at younger ages than other generations. It's that teen are more open about it, and that's how we know about the "more" sexual activity.
