Dating my ex-wife's 1st cousin

I have a complicated question. My ex-wife left me for her 1st cousin's husband. We were all best friends when this happened. Since then, we have all gotten divorced and they are now married.

My question is this: Is it taboo for me to date her cousin at this point? Of course, the cousin and my ex-wife no longer speak. We have talked each other through this hard time, and have discussed dating each other; there is definitely mutual interest there. We are not madly in love or anything like that, but we are great friends (have been for years) and truly enjoy each others' company.

Our children are of course second cousins and very close as well which may or may not complicate things even more.

    I don't see what would be taboo since only your ex-wife and her cousin are related by blood. It may create more animosity between all of you, though.

    It's not normal and extremely disrespectful. Why would you want to hurt her like that? Did she do something to you as disrespectful? It's thousands of women out here to get with. I'm so sure you can find another women that's no relations to your ex wife!! Really!! SMH
