If you'd have said 9 or 11 then yes that's normal, but 10!!

OP, scientific research has shown that some people are predisposed to getting bitten more often than others. There are a combination of factors at play, such as genetics and diet, among other things.
As an anecdote, my mom rarely ever gets bitten by mosquitoes - maybe once or twice a year. I, on the other hand, get bitten every single time I go outside during the summer. It's a miracle I haven't gotten West Nile Virus yet.
I know exactly what you are saying. I am like a magnet for the damn toothy bastards. Even worse here, they carry the Chick V virus and something like 80% of the island has the disease, as do all the other West Indian Islands, right now.
If there were one creature on this planet I would like to see exterminated (other than man) it would be mosquitoes, no matter the ecological consequences.
I respect life in all its forms and sizes, except mosquitos, fuck mosquitos. So one day no homo, I planted Lavender outside my windows. Since then I don't get many mosquitos .
I've had so many bites once, I lost count. It's normal, especially if you live close to a source of water (swamp, river, lake, pond)
I read that type O blood is the one mosquitos love the most, I find it true since my mom and I are type O and we will get lot of bites even though a bunch of other people are around and don't get bitten. They also are attracted to people with high cholesterol. They hate curry spices and garlic but so do I unfortunately so I don't eat it.
