Dad wants to marry me?

I am 19 and my dad is 34.My dad for some time now he has been looking at my body in strange ways, calling me "babe" instead of daughter, and even wanting to sleep next to me at night. Today he told me that he wants to marry me because of how pretty i look, he even said that we would make a great couple! I felt really creeped out and scared for a while, I am even thinking of moving out! Is this kind of thing normal?

      She needs to get away from him, that's the priority, not "help" for him. There's very little evidence that any form of "help" changes pedophiles, they should just be locked up together so they can only harm each other and not others.

      And yeah, I know she's 19, but he's still after his own daughter, so it counts as pedophilia with me, if not in law.

        I said "not in law", it's still an older male after a young girl and I know it's incest

          No, it is NOT pedophilia; law or no law. By it's definition, pedophilia is when a person of adolescence or older is attracted to prepubescent children. Keyword here is "prepubescent."

          19 is much past the age of pubescence. Therefore, it is not Pedophilia. It may be something else, definitely, but it is not that.

          I'm not saying it is acceptable or anything. In fact, it's wrong on multiple levels. I do often find it distasteful, personally, when much older people are in relationships with very young people. The fact that he is her father makes it even worse. However, you are not defining this correctly and it bothers me to see this behavior being mislabeled. The term "pedophilia" is serious, and should not be just thrown around so loosely.
