Dad racist?!?

Okay well my dad is extremly racist, mostly towards black people... I think he believes it's ok, but it's not... I would like some comebacks to say to him. It is embarrassing as I am NOT racist. Please no bad comments! I still love my dad! I just want some comebacks to say to him! Sorry if this offends anyone! I don't mean 2!

Tell your dad his racist comments remind you of the movie Deliverance. When he speaks racial slurs, all you hear are banjos. Ask him if the KKK accepted his application into the club yet or if he is still an independent racist. Just make it funny and lighthearted.

My dad is soooo racist too tell him the facts.... Skin color doesn't matter, he shouldn't be against black people... But my situation may b diff. My dad cheated on y mum when I was 9 I still go hang out with him(kinda forced to) but not to be racist but he married an Asian and had 2 more daughters... So whenevz he makes a racist comment I can't help but say (btw I have nothing against Asians) stuff like
Well I'm not to fond of ur yellow friends either!! or like, I point out an Asian on the street And say hey look dad! Another one of ur Asian buddies!! Say hi!! And then I wave... Lol... It insults him and after a bit he stopped being mean :D

Funny, isn't it, how many racists just despise black people, while at the same time fetishizing the hell out of Asians, Hispanics or Native Americans.

The first thing that comes to my mind is, "And when did you choose to be white?" Skin colour is nothing to be proud of, nor ashamed of - it's not like you worked for it! Would he hate people for having the "wrong" eye colour, too?

It's very normal to have at least one racist relative. I don't have one, but a lot of my friends do. We all have relatives who say or do things that are not admirable.

Now, if you were *friends* with a racist (who wasn't a relative) that would be a different story.

I think most dads that are not black hate black people. All the dads I have known seem to. Including my dad and all my friends dads. They all are different races Indian, white, Hispanic, Asian and they all seem to despise black people. I don't understand why this is so common. None of us with racist fathers are usually racist. So that is no reflection on you.

What? My dad doesn't have a problem with black people, nor do most of the white dads I've known. I think it may just be your social circle, no offense.

All u have to do is prove all his remarks to be false.. you can do that then geyt him a black friend.... or get him drunk and trick him into sleeping with a black girl .... yea when he wake up he will be like wtf... but on the other hand he will realize that on the inside we are all not the different ...

My dad is racist too. Such is life. A lot of it has to do with their upbringing. I live in a small very racist town and 99% if the older generation are racist. It might just have to be something you deal with. Nothing I say to my dad will change his opinion.

why not just try to talk to him and find out why he feels that why? Sometimes people are racists and don't even now why. or maybe it is the result of some negative experience in the past. try to talk to him rather than argue with him. it might help and if his reasons are really stupid you can point it out to him.I am a father and I think parents are ALWAYS willing to listen to their kids and discuss things rationally- it could take your relationship to a whole new better level. plus give examples from your own experience.

My mom was a racist when I was a kid I grew up in the city and we lived in a very mixed area.So I had friends from all races she hated it well I was 13 and my first girlfriend was black that set her off..lol..15 years later and many more black, spanish and asian girl friends and a purto rican/jamican wife and some mixed kids she changed a little..lol people are set in their ways they will never change. My mom changed a little but still won't eat some where if the person cooking is not white..smh..but if you really wanna piss daddy off..date outside your race that will really set him off

I don't think asking for things to demean him is particularly the right answer as his racism is probably borne from fear anyway. Although, it does occur to me that getting him together in a room with a black man who hates white people and having them both play chess may demonstrate how ridiculous it is to hate based upon the colour of another man's skin. Even moreso if you make your dad play the black pieces.
