I am happily married and have an adopted kid and a step kid.We don't invite dad over much because he LOVES TO FIGHT and starts stuff between us and says inappropriate things to our kids.He followed us around the grocery store screaming our names and pushed people out of the line so he could talk to us....He followed us out of the parking lot and tried to block us from going with his car...people are talking and they blame me for the whole situation.have a restraining order the cops feel sorry for him because he is old. Anything we can do short of moving .

    Have him committed to a mental health facility. If you're his next of kin you can sign him in.

    What is wrong with him? I dont know how to help because I would tell you to move. Maybe video him so others can see how bad you have it...to show tge cops and stuff...I dont think being old should excuse such behavior. ..Maybe he needs a mental evaluation

    tried telling to leave me alone it got super ugly he went on this big rant about how I am his daughter and he can do whatever he wants to me and I have to deal with it

    Have you tried actually telling him to leave you alone? Maybe an intervention?

    You say you don't invite him over much and you have a restraining order against him. Why invite him over at all if there's a restraining order?
