Customer service

I've got customer service jobs, but I don't always "like" customers. I didn't the jobs because they're my calling, but rather because they were easier to find. I just feel like customers can be very ignorant a lot. And, for the record, the customer is not ALWAYS right.

Customer service is some hard as work, because people are ignorant assholes, and the dumber they feel the more rudely they will behave. I used to customer service/tech support for a satellite television service. Some people are actually very nice and gracious while others are the human equivalent of prolapsed rectums.

It's true. One of the things I've noticed is that people can be really nasty to others they think are beneath them. I've let the weirdos stop bothering me.

I have worked in customer service for a very long time. I learnt to assume everybody is a fucking idiot until they demonstrate otherwise and that patience is a virtue.

It would be good if you could undertake some training to get out of customer service eventually. I'd find it impossible to do it face to face for very long, I'm far too impatient with fools and rude people. I work in a form of customer service on adult sex phone lines but at least I don't have to look at them and I can always hang up and pretend later we were cut off if it's a difficult or long boring call
