Crush on my teacher iin

I attend an art school, hold your jokes back please, and I'm really attracted my teacher for digital painting. He is young in his late 20s and I am 20.

I guess that's the weird thing for me, I'm not that kid crushing on adults. Now I am an adult that's crushing on my adult teacher. I know it's a bad idea. Especially at my school where they even discourage friendships between students and their teachers because it might lead to an unfair advantage in grades. I don't want a better grade I just wouldn't mind being with him.

I don't know. I guess my main issue right now is that I act stupid and awkward in class.

When are you going to finish your art classes? You can keep contact with him after you finish (since you said you can't have a relationship now) and good things can happen. You never know.

Yes, was going to say for her to keep contact with him and then transfer or finish at another school. It would be best to just wait until she is done and no longer enrolled and then maybe, maybe she can make a move. The age thing is no big deal either. I am 27 and my girlfriend is 21 and no one makes a fuss.

      • The age doesn't bother me. I'm pretty sure I won't transfer schools since I love my school and I'm in the third year. I like him but not enough to reboot my education.

So it is best to wait until you are done with school but keep in contact with him. You can even visit after and tell him what is on your mind.

  • Heh well hey it happens. I went to the doctor's today and when the doctor came in I was shocked to find he wasn't at all what I had expected. I thought he was going to be older, but he was probably the youngest doctor I've ever had. Yes he was EXTREMELY good looking. >< I'm so bad at keeping a straight face but hopefully he didn't notice. lol. To top it off one of the reasons I had gone to see a Dr. was for a UTI/BV. Thank GOD he couldn't do one of the tests there so he had to send me to the gynecologist. I smirkblushed when he said "but I would have done it here for you... if you were comfortable with that" among other things I found amusing. ;)

Ah! O.O I laughed every time the subject of me seeing a bunch of doctors came up. He said it was strange a 21 year old had my eye problems. Then when we talked about my depression I told him I had already made an appointment next week with a psychiatrist in the same building. So I kept laughing every time it came up. He would say something like "...oh but you're seeing a psychiatrist next week that's right." and I would laugh and he'd say "What's so funny? *laugh*"

I may have been smiling the entire time he was doing leg tests. Haha.

Anyways, it was the best Dr.'s appointment I've ever had. ;)

I think it's perfectly normal. But your school may or may not have a policy on students dating their professors. If they do it would probably be best to try having a romantic relationship with him once your classes are over.

Having a crush on a young and talented male teacher is absolutely normal. However, if you want to go further, be aware of any school rules that forbidden teacher and student to have a romantic relationship. It may risk your study opportunity and his job.
