So I have a HUGE crush on a celebrity. It doesn't matter who but I dream about him and fantasize and everything and sometimes get sad that I can't meet him. Is it normal to crush on somebody you've never met? Or is it just his work I admire?
Yes, I have had a 40 year crush on a rock musician 7 years my senior. I have even 'adopted' him as my 'surrogate big brother'. He is someone not many people have heard of.
It's normal. I have a small crush on Johnny depp, Hugh Laurie, Vince Vaughn, jude law....the list goes on. :)

I have one *not important who, as you said* and, I react the same way you do. It's perfectly normal, and as long as it doesn't affect your life with other humans everything should be okay.
that's normal..well unless it's like an unhealthy obsession. i used to feel like that about the lead singer of the band Boys Like Girls. i still like their music, but when i heard the rumors about martin i lost major respect for him...
your level of interest is what determines if it's normal. if celebrities are all you think about, no. that's not normal. distant admiration is okay. celebrities are exciting. however, if you have no interest in men that aren't celebrities, you're probably just afraid of commitment. having romantic feelings towards someone you may never meet satisfies some of those feelings of love in some way, but it's artificial and that works for you.
We are exactly the same. I cry in front of my bf about it sometimes...I truly believe that you shouldn't settle and go after what you truly want. And if you can't have him, find a damn good look/act alike!
