Cried after toughest workout in my life

Ok so recently I tried starting some martial arts class, but it was the toughest thing ever,i hadnt worked out properly in a while and I since I said i did it years ago and got quite high when I quit I worked out with the highest group (he split it into grp depending wat belt u had) and I hadnt eaten all day so my instructor told me to down a coke, to raise my sugar levels, but it made me feel bad during the work out. Anyway it was incredibly tough and when I got home a started crying, only a couple of tears, anyway I hadnt been able to cry in years, no matter what happened I hadnt cried in over 10 yrs yet this exercising moved me to tears. My instructor wasnt even mean, he was very supportive saying I was doing very well and sh*t. Anyone know any reason why working out really hard made me cry?

that's weird, usually when you work out it releases endorphins into your brain which makes you happy.

  • Why can't women have both? A guy who is somewhat sensitive, but doesn't cry all the time, but also a guy who you feel safe around and can protect you, that's my idea of the perfect guy.

  • I haven't cried in about 1 year, and I tried to last night because I had the stomach flu and my stomach hurt really bad, but no tears came out so I just whined in bed. Maybe it wasn't enough to bring me to tears, but I couldn't sleep for 6 hours it was so bad, I dunno maybe I just can't cry anymore.

    • I cry all the time. do chicks dig a guy who cries all the time? they say they do, but i think they are lying.

I think it's like the Bradley effect of relationships. women SAY they want a sensitive guy but then they get annoyed at having a little pussy-boy around all the time who's always crying.

Ye, you've got that right. Women all complain that they want a sensitive guy who's in touch with his emotions, but what they really want is a take charge kind of guy. You have to be a little bit of both to really get them to notice you.

  • "I hadnt eaten all day so my instructor told me to down a coke, to raise my sugar levels"

wtf?? that is the worse advise ever!

other than that, it's good you could cry. but when you haven't worked out for a while, you need to get back to it in a sensible way.

The way you're going, you are going to injure yourself or worse. Also, the way you are going chances are you will quit before long.
