Creepypasta helps me sleep. is it normal?

I read my first creepypasta a few days back and became interested by it. Now I often read creepypastas. When I read Jeff the killer the first time, his picture startled me a bit (my computer is laggy, so it randomly popped up). Then after reading the story (it was late) I went to bed and had his face was stuck in my head. At first, I thought it would bother me all night, but it didn't, in fact it helped me sleep. So now every night, when I go to bed, I read a creepypasta and look at Jeff's face for a few minutes...

I wish creepypasta would help me sleep, but all it does is make me afraid to leave my room or pass by uncovered windows at night...

If you don't know what creepypasta is, look it up.

That is very strange. Maybe reading just relaxes you. I like reading to relax as I am focused on something. That or chatting with people.

No, it's not that (although I do enjoy reading a book before going to bed). It's mostly the thought of it, the fact that these... creatures could be waiting around the corner, ready to strike.I find the thought... comforting?(from lack of a better word). I also have an active imagination, so the... images caused by reading these are vivid for me.

I don't typically read creepypasta because it's a waste of my time.
...but then again, so is this site.

I don't have a life, so I can spare the time... Then again, my time isn't important...
