Creative or logical

If you had to choose between being a highly creative person or a highly logical person, which one would you choose to be (regardless of what you already consider yourself to be)?

    I chose creativity.

80% logic and 20% creativity is a nice mix.

I'm already a creative type. And I already lack logic. But I prefer creativity.

If I pick creative, will I also gain the talents to bring my ideas into reality? It would be pointless to have great ideas for a comic book, but have no way to communicate it with anyone else, and not be able to draw it yourself.

I chose creative, but I wouldn't say I was especially creative or logical.

Logic makes the world go round. Creativity is something the female brain has to make things in your house less utilitarian.

    • But couldn't you argue that without creativity all of the great inventions that changed this world would had never happened had someone not been creative enough to think them up?

They are not necessarily without the other. Very intelligent people are often very creative.

        • I agree with that. I think both are very important to our society and that the people that moved the world forward were capable of doing so because they had a good amount of both, or very creative people teamed up well with very logical people and were able to use each other's ways of thinking to benifit. I was just questioning toofgod's comment because he seemed not to see much value in creativity. I left this post because I was curious to see which people would prefer to have. Just out of curiosity, no bias behind it.

Logical does not equal uncreative as much as you keep saying it does. I am very logical and creative. I also think creativity shows intelligence. Which intelligent people are often more logical. Logic and intelligence is not the same as knowledge itself either.

            • I didn't say it does. Where are you getting that? I said I agree with you.

I think without logic these 1s and 0s we are digitally sending each other wouldn't be possible without the mans LEFT hemisphere hence Logic. I cannot fully disagree with you though.
