Crazy climbing dreams

Hey, is it normal to have crazy climbing and driving dreams? During a dream, I may be crossing a simple bridge, which turns out to be not so simple because I suddenly reach a point where I have to jump over something or make a perilous climb to cross the bridge. Then there is the horrible fear of falling. Also, when dreaming of driving, the expressway takes on dangerous convolutions in which I don't know how I manage to survive, and often find myself manually manipulating my car through tight spots; that is, getting out of the car and lifting it into proper position. These dreams are frequent and recurring. I don't believe in dream symbolism, but I wonder how someone else might interpret these dreams.
