Count the number of times someone does something repetitive
I have a teacher in math who appears to squeak his throat every five minutes. One day I decided to count the number of times he does so, and found out for myself that my suspicions were true. He taught for 66 minutes, squeaking his throat 15 times. On the average he squeaked his throat every 4 minutes and 24 seconds.
Another teacher of mine, this time in chemistry lab, kept on repeating the phrase, "Do you follow?" I decided to count one day and came up with 112 repetitions of the phrase in 120 minutes.
Is it normal to count things that occur so frequently?
