Could i be sadistic?

I've been called sadistic a few times (jokeingly and not) by friends and family. I like inflicting physical pain on others. And manipulating other people's emotions to get what I want. But it's mostly the physical aspect of it. I like seeing others get hurt. It doesn't matter if they're strangers or people close to me, I just think it's really funny when they get hurt. Like, I watch Ridiculousness (if you don't know what it is, they show a lot of people getting hurt and stuff) and I can't stop laughing. Another example: My dad fell down a flight of stairs and broke his ankle and all I did was laugh at him. I laugh at this stuff all the time. And I will try to pull pranks on my friends where they get hurt or injured. Am I sadistic?

    I love rediculousness! Rob Dyrdek is pretty much awesome!

    However there is a difference between watching funny internet videos, and laughing at your family member who is laying there in pain with broken bones. Seems a little sadistic to me!

    No, but you do sound like your very young and haven't had many opportunities in life yet to develop some empathy. Don't worry though, you'll be getting yours soon enough and your amusement at others' folly will die down to a respectable level.

      Um, yeah. That's not true. I know what empathy is. I should have it but I don't. I've had 11 family members die in my lifetime (I'm 22). And I only felt sad for one of them.

    I think everybody laughs at those shows, otherwise it wouldn't be allowed to be a show. If someone falls, usually they laugh at the person that fell.

    You can't bee too good at manipulating sadisticly people to do things that hurt them if people have called you sadistic, etc
