Could i be allergic to camel cigarettes?

I usually smoke Carnival Cigarettes (full flavor) and I've smoked a lot of other types of cigarettes but every time that I smoke Camel Cigarettes my throat gets really raw and I cough really bad. It takes over a day for my soar throat to go away. Is this normal and is it possible that I could be allergic to Camel Cigarettes?

Cigarettes contain up to six thousand chemicals, some of which are toxic. Each brand has a different little lethal cocktail, which accounts for different brands having different flavours. It's entirely possible you're allergic to something in Camels.

I have to admit Camels make me cough too. I generally smoke Marlboro Reds, even though most of my friends say they're harsh and make them cough. It stops people bumming cigs, though.

They are more harsh cigarettes yes. If you think those are bad I dare you to try American Spirits. I hate those things but they are all natural.

Also camel probably uses a different cigarette curing process or a different tobacco. Whatever the case I don't think your allergic to anything in camel cigs. If you didn't read it on the internet then chances are no one else became allergic.

Camels aren't too bad you should try the Turkish royals made by camel. One of the best cigarettes ever made if not the best.

It's funny i have the exact same problem as you right now. It's so bad that the longer i keep smoking the blues the harsher and more frequent my cough gets. I start hacking up discolored phlegm. If I cut drastically down to a few a day the cough stays the same. If I stop smoking it heals itself, and goes away after three days or so.

I have been thinking it is the flame retardant used in certain smokes that is irritating my airways.

I searched allergic to camel blues on google and found this internet forum. I don't see any dates on the posts. But I wanted to respond because your issues sound exactly like my issues with the blues.

edit- well I see the date now. 6 years ago, my bad lol

Its possible to be allergic to anything. Some people are even allergic to germs which are all around us. If you are that means something in the ciggerates is cuasing your immune system to overreact. Either way though this type of stuff is really really bad for you anyways. I mean do you even check whats in this stuff? Some of these contain chemicals they use for cleaning and your inhaling that. Tar is another ingredient. So you know either way its still killing you. I think an allergic reaction is not really that big if you are willing to put this poison into your body

I have been having a toxic reaction to something and the infectious specialist thought it could be the toothpaste and NOPE sure wasn't. Now I'm almost positive it's the cigarettes. My mouth is raw and my throat closes up. Don't cough much but my throat swells. Getting sent to different kind of specialist now but now that I look back at how long I've had this problem, it's been since I switched to smoking camel crush. Doesn't mean it affects everyone the same way but I am personally having a reaction to it. My ex husband smokes same brand and he's fine.

I've been to many doctors and no one can give me answers on my problem. But honestly if I remember correctly this problem began when I switched cigarettes .

I just searched for an allergic reaction to camel cigarettes and so far this is the only thing I've found. I smoke all kinds of cigarettes (because I tend to get bored), and camels lights and turkishs were some that I smoked pretty often. The past few months I have had a chronic cough and have an appointment with a pulmonary doctor now. I think I was smoking camels a lot at this time, and my throat closes up so that it's hard to breathe. I do not get a sore throat, but I do get a really bad tickle in my throat which makes me have to cough. Just recently I have recently switched to Marlboro Smooths, and my cough has significantly gotten a lot better in the past few weeks. Yesterday I bought a pack of blues just because, and the cough immediately came back. It is also hard to breathe because my throat feels like it is closed up again. I know they have recently switched the box that blues came in, and I notice a change in taste, too. I don't know. I really think I am allergic and I will continue to search.

Camel blows so don't even worry about it. I might smoke em if there was a lion or a kool ass animal on the pack. But a fuckin camel, are you serious? That's the best they could come up with? They picked a fuckin camel??? Wow, bravo. How fuckin gay is that?
