Confessing sexual fantasies synonymous to sexual harassment

Is confessing to having a sexual fantasy about a woman to said woman an act of sexual harassment?

I think you should ask if she’s interested in hearing about this first. Better safe than sorry!

Well if you ask permission to say it first then it won’t be harassment and you shouldn’t be embarrassed since she wants to hear it.

It depends. You have to use your own judgement. If she tells you to stop stop.

It could be. If she tells you to stop and you continue to tell it, it definitely is harassment.

Yes. The imaginary 'effigy' of that person inside your head can't choose to give consent or not and he/she would probably not like the idea in real life.

I mean, take the fantasy element out of the equation and just imagine going up to someone you aren't in a relationship with and saying (with zero context at all) 'hey, I really like the idea of having sex with you.'

They'd wonder what you wanted, which had motivated you to say that thing. And because it was such a bizarre thing to say, they'd probably not automatically assume your intentions were benign.

I would immediately tell the person to leave me the Hell alone, and then I would go to the supervisor, and to HR!

I do that all the time, I don't think it is harrasment. Of course the woman is my wife.

I would rather OVERHEAR it said to someone else then have them tell me themselves

I just don't get why anyone would do that, confess attraction sure, but don't tell people about your sexual desires towards the, it is really unwelcome.

Yes, unless you are in a relationship don’t tell the object of your fantasies about them.

With today's outrageously PC laws, pretty much everything you say to a woman today can be construed as sexual harassment. All that is required is that she feel "uncomfortable" in your presence. The world is going to shit in a handbasket.

It depends, but if I'm not interested in, and or attracted to a person I certainly don't want to hear that bullshit. Don't sexually harass others, because it's a shitty thing to do. If someone harasses me in the workplace I ALWAYS go to HR, because I respect my self, and others, and don't take kindly to being harassed, and disrespected by anyone!
