Coffee before food, or food before coffee?

I usually have coffee before i eat anything. My girlfriend likes to eat before coffee though. What about you?

    Ah yes, one of the great questions of our time. Is it better to be loved or feared? What is the meaning of life? Are we the only life in the cosmos? To drink coffee before or after breakfast? It's a bit of a catch 22. If you drink coffee before breakfast you may lose your appetite due to the caffeine. If you drink it after, the food slows the absorption of the caffeine into your bloodstream. When I'm in a hurry to get my ass to work I don't want to be like a zombie. I want to be like a jack rabbit on crack immediately. So, I agree when the gentlemen who refuses to take sustenance from a paved walkway. I drink one cup before, one during, and one after. Yeah....I drink a lot of coffee.
