Co-worker/friend is psychotically obsessed with smart phone, normal?

I think being obsessed is sometimes normal, when you're alone. But I think there may be something mentally wrong with her. She takes a hundred pictures, posts them to Facebook, and then chats about them AS we're still doing that activity.

At dinner it's embarrasing because she's taking pictures of the food from all different angles. Then chats about it with some cunt who is just as oblivious as she is. I end up sitting there with my empty plate watching her chat.

She's my co-worker so I haven't complained. But I feel pissed about it.

    To be honest, I think it's pretty rude of a friend to constantly be on their phone when they're hanging out with you. It's like, what's the point of hanging out with them if they have no interest in you?

    I have a friend like that. Her habits can be annoying to deal with, but I love her anyway.
