Close your mouth when you eat

Now i love my guy but i HATE when he eats and drinks. when he eats he smacks and ive told him it really bothers me thats just how i was raised EVERYONE in my family wont tolerate it, and when he drinks he sucks in whatever he's drinking really hard so then it makes this loud squeek sound that gives me a headache.

is it normal to be SOOOOOOOO annoyed with something as simple as eating and drinking?

I cant stand it when people eat like this. It puts me off my food, especially when its adults. But ive got to say that the worst table manners is burping and farting, just because you say "pardon me" afterwards doesnt make it acceptable!

Yeah, I hate when people do that too. Seriously, it makes me cringe. it's also such a rude thing for them to do. I usually don't ever eat out just because I can hear or see people from several tables over doing just that. And it grosses me out. I honestly can't eat at all when seeing or hearing other people's food in their mouths.

I have on several occasions had to suddenly leave restaurants, friends' houses and such because of people around me smacking and simply not knowing any table manners.

When this happens I don't actually get mad at the people doing it but rather at myself for not being able to tolerate it.

It's not your guy's fault that he was never taught any table manners but surely he is old enough now to learn them. I don't know how you could take him out to eat in public if this is how he eats. He just needs to slow down and remember that he is not an animal. Does the then wipe his mouth on his sleeve? Only joking!

I have this same problem, I absolutely hate eating around other people because most seem to be mouth breathing, lip smacking morons. The absolute worst is open mouth gum chewers, I have seriously threatened lives of people who just don't get it when you ask them to stop.

The closest I can come to a definition of the issue is misophonia and the complete and utter ignorance of people that feel it needs to be heard that they are chewing on something from 30ft away.
