Clocks. wtf is happening.

Is it normal or even possible that my kitchen wall fucks with my clock?

This is clock number three and it works fine everywhere else in my house but gains seven min per day if hung in my kitchen. Clock number one is ticking away merrily in my shed but when in the kitchen it would lose about 30 sec per day as did clock two. I'm at a loss to explain it.

Is it normal for this to happen?

Localised gravitic anomaly? Do you have a supermassive underground car park in the subterranea directly below your kitchen? Or a neutron star?

More likely answer: your kitchen is warm/humid and is affecting the clock mechanism.

    • My kitchen is cool. There is no super massive underground carpark below. Is there a test I could perform to confirm the neutron star theory?

are there any power wires behind that wall, that i belive can mess with it, or something else could be happening, i havent heard of a problem like this

Yeah, the neutron star theory is an easy one to prove. If your kitchen in any way still exists, you don't have a subterranean neutron star. ;)

    Electricity in your walls, probably.

    • That's what I thought, but there's no power behind it and I can't find any evidence that electrical fields affect clocks ability to keep time.

I have no clue, then. Try punching your wall in the face. That'll do it.

There's a wire behind your wall buddy. Either that or your near an electrical substation or a radio station. The different building materials between house and garage could factor in....but its most likely an unknown wire behind the wall. Have you tried using the clock in the kitchen but not in the same spot on the wall? Do you have electric baseboard heat???

    • *remove* I've tried a few spots on the same wall but I'll try a different wall. Thanks.

Q- is it an atomic clock.
IT IS MOST LIKELY MAGNETIC INTERFERENCE. ANYTHING WITH A MOTOR WORKING OFF AC is susceptible to interference. It is almost certainly an issue of interference.

    • Thanks, how do I femive the interference?

A clock that does not hold time correctly is said to be bad luck.
The only way to remove the bad luck is by giving the clock away and for that person to willingly accept it. You cannot force the faulty clock onto others though, or use any type of deception.

Note: The person who willingly takes the faulty clock will then have the bad luck, and must do the same to remove the curse.

To fix the curse once and for good, the clock must be fixed. At which time it can be destroyed.

    Good luck with that.

Do this as a test, switch all the appliances off from the wall for an hour or so and see if the clock continues to gain time.

    • Will do, as soon as I finish my c"oiled in an extension lead in my shed" test.

The kitchen is haunted...that's all I can think of! Someone must have died in that kitchen and they're letting you know by messing with the time! Have you looked into the history of the home? You may be able to find some interesting facts! Of course, I don't believe in such things, but people have been known to see, feel, and hear spirits!
