Christmas parades should not be in november!

Is it normal to think it's stupid when towns/cities have Christmas parades in November? I think it's stupid because it's hard to be in the Christmas spirit, when it's over a month away! My city had its Santa Claus parade LAST weekend! Yes, the middle of November, for frig sakes.

I live in Canada, so I do have to admit December can be cold. But November really isn't much warmer! And it's normal to be cold at Christmas. It's also more Christmasy when there's snow on the ground. It's currently raining.

So yeah I am totally NOT in the Christmas mood yet, and I am not going to the parades. I probably would if they were held in December.

Anyone else agree with me?

That should be held at least in december.

Some christmas celebration is done early so at christmas people have time for themselves or to be with family. Doesn't that make sense?

yea last year I went and it was in mid november aswell (I live in Canada to) and we went and it was RAINING! Luckily we were watching from inside a building and we had hot chocolate and stuff. But it still would`ve been better if it was maybe 8 degree`s colder snowing and a month later!

I totally do! They are always on like November 16th or something and I'm like wait til December! And you are right, the weather isn't much warmer. I really don't know why. Maybe a little research? Haha.
