Depends on whether I got them a good present or not. If I got a really good present for someone which I know they'll love, then giving gifts is better and I love it. If I'm not completely sure whether they'll like it or not, I get pretty nervous about it. And I do this stupid thing, where I talk it down, probably just so that it looks better when they open it, ha. I go really shy, though:S.
Getting presents is great too. Especially if they've thought about it. I usually don't like getting stuff off people, put when it's called a "present" that completely changes.:S So stupid. I've opened some presents off people already (they told me to, though!) and so far people have got me perfect presents for me this year.:D
PRESENTS!:D Yay!
I do that too! Then I feel shitty for probably wrecking it for them :-S
I still prefer gift giving to gift receiving. I make even more of an arse of myself when I'm given gifts, because I always feel like thanks I give is over the top or sounds insincere, when it's not, and it always feels awkward :(
Hah, I get the same receiving gifts! I always feel pressured because they're looking at my reaction, so even if I genuinely do love it, it feels uncomfortable. I never know what to say either, and I just end up saying stuff like "aww, thanks" repeatedly.:/
It's definitely more fun giving................................ anal sex.
Definitely giving. I feel better giving than receiving. I mean, of course I'm thankful, and really appreciate that someone was so thoughtful, but for some reason when I get gifts, I have this aching feeling like I didn't really deserve them. :/
I like getting presents because I love the element of surprise. I love not knowing what I'm getting. I hate finding out, though. Haha.
I enjoy getting people things as long as I know what TO get. I buy my friends and family things all year round because I know they need whatever it is. If I see something they need, I impulsively buy it for them, no questions asked. I'm much more of a giver in that aspect. I always hated people spending money on me unless I feel I've earned it.
Giving feels good, receiving also feels nice, but I always feel awkward at Christmas because I do sometimes get presents from work clients so come Christmas when we all open them, everyone has to wait for me to finish once their done. Its got to a point where I keep a few back and open them in secret away from everyone else.
Depends- some people are so darn picky when it comes to presents so shopping is a nightmare although it also feels awesome when you give a gift someone loves ^^
Giving, if you're confident that you have a good present to give. That rarely happens though; even if I do have a good present I'm rarely confident :/ It stresses me out so much, I probably only enjoy it because the massive stress is finally over.
I like gifts! Especially if someone put a lot of thought into it. And I enjoy giving on many levels. But it depends on who I bought the gift for. I usually enjoy giving friends gifts because I know them really well. However my mom and sister are really hard to give gifts to because they always look disappointed even if they specifically asked for the item. :\
I guess i'm in the middle. Its fun to shop for people and give presents and such, but if you get nothing at all in return from anyone, its kind of sucky and not as fun. :c
I guess crappy gifts aren't that great either, but at least its something.
Difficult for me to say because the only person I've bought presents for / received presents from this year is myself. They've made me very happy, though.
