Is it normal to get annoyed by my Welfare neighbours who put up their Christmas lights a week ago (the NON-ENERGY-EFFICIENT ONES!!) and haven't turned them off yet? I'm serious. they run the lights 24/7!!!!!! And we have to pay their friggin power bill! Us tax-payers, that is. Is it normal to be annoyed at this? I think so!
I'm preparing for my state tax preparers exam next week to become a licence tax preparer and... welfare receipants really do not get that much compared to the corporate kickbacks and bailouts that we just let slip by without bitching. However, they need to at least TRY to better their lives and stop leaching off of the system if they truly are not forced to "SURVIVE" on it due to a child.
However, I agree with Jen and welfare people in general (Druggies like my mom included in this) and I tend to look down on those who don't at least try to live a clean life. Even if it is hard.
In all honesty, welfare or not, I'd hate to have a neighbor who was analyzing how I lived, especially if they're nitpicking about a string of Christmas lights.
Often people are on welfare because they have no sense of responsibility in the first place, so of course they are going to run lights 24/7. They have no common sense, and probably no education. They have no concept of energy and how it works. They have no concept of anything. That's why they're on welfare.
