At my house we have a rule,we don't eat animals that were cute when they were alive (deer,moose,rabbit,lamb etc. tho we eat chicken,cow and pig cause they aren't cute)I wanna know if anyone else does this,i honestly don't think so,and is this normal?
Wow, how superficial have we become when we decide on an animal's life based upon whether we think it's pretty or not.
What about when that cow, chicken or pig was a baby? How cute were they then & you still eat them?
I don't eat any type of animal, their all cute to me!

Are you kidding me!?!?! Pigs are freaking adorable!!! Chickens, not so much, but cows can be surprisingly cute too. But really, PIGS ARE ADORABLE! MODIFY THE RULE!

What if humans weren't at the 'top' of the food chain? (And I say top like 'top' because we're only at the top because we have weapons; i.e. guns and bombs and shit) Would YOU like it if, whatever was above us, ate us depending on our looks? So many people would die; not because many people are ugly, but because ugly is an opinion, so, virtually, everyone is attractive and everyone is ugly. I say you come up with a better rule, because your current rule is BULLSHIT.
By the way, I happen to find chickens, cows and pigs very cute. Actually, I happen to find every animal cute, in their own way.
An animals cuteness varrries from person to person. i think pigs are cute. so maybe you should not eat them now.
What about how well the the poor creature was treated while it was alive, before it was killed for your consumption? Why wouldn't that matter to you more than how "cute" it is? Do you think it matters to the pig, cow, or chicken? Do you think they enjoy their life before they sacrifice it for you? Or are they miserable; being treated like prisoners in a hell-ish concentration camp from the day they are born until they day they are slaughtered. What about eating cruelty-free meats instead?
what about big hairy black spiders? i dont know anyone would finds them cute. so would that rule still apply?
Only meat that is ate in my house is cow, chicken and pig as well. Not even seafood. I say normal, we all have our own preferences!
Well, in general I'd say that's not normal on it's own, but alot of the weirdness came from the fact that you think a moose is cute, and if it wasn't cute you'd honestly eat a moose. As far as I know, nobody eats moose.

Chicken, cows, and pigs are cute. Ive always wanted a pet pig or cow. Use2 have a baby chick when i was younger.
Chickens aren't that cute in most people's minds but having owned them myself I found them to be very cute, very interesting, smart and all with distinct personalities. I grew up on a dairy farm and find cows to be very pretty, also smart with each having it's own personality. When's th elast time you were near a cow or a chicken anyway? How did you form your opinion? Have you ever seen a deer close up? I don't find adult deer to be cute and I've seen tons of them! The front of my car has seen a few. Deer are a nuisance around here.
I think those rules you have are pretty stupid, I'd be much more concerned with any animals you eat having a comfortable, good life rather than being only concerned about it's looks.
Cows are ugly and chickens are retarded, but pigs are fucking cool. They like dogs but waaaaaaaaaay more laid back.
