If he's not an idiot then he'll have an idea of what's going on. Just forget about it and don't worry, he'll probably not bring it up again.

No one of use knows your dad... The person knowing him the best should be you...

I can only guess that he did not believe you...

A more important question would be if he actually cares ^w^

I think he was giving you a subtle hint that he knows about your browsing habits, and giving you a way out of the conversation that might ensue. He wants you to be careful about your behaviour on the internet. I think he was being a good dad.

No of course he didn't believe you he was testing you.

If he is the kind of Dad I am, then he knows you, and wasn't asking to be judgemental. He was asking to find out where you are in your life because he loves you, and he wants to know if you are getting into something that may not be good for you so he can hopefully steer you in a different direction. Only YOU know your Dad well enough to know if you should admit to anything, but he would probably respect you more if you admitted you got curious and checked out a few sites, and then the two of you could actually have an adult to adult conversation about sex, which is something that all parents and children should be doing but most aren't.

I think he knew it most probably was your own doing. The question he asked was rather perhaps to clarify his judgement whether what he would believe was true or not. But this does not mean that he agree/disagree with your act. You know your dad best with regard to his standing on the act.

Of course he knows it was you, that is, if he isn't stupid. How old are you anyway? Use better browsing methods to hide your activity. Don't be a dummy.

It sounds like he was offering you an out, an excuse to say someone else was responsible.

It all depends on your delivery, how did you say it, and what expressions did you use on your face and hands?

He most likely fell for it, If you plan to do such stuff in the future, please invest in a strong malware protection software, never click on pop-ups and delete all your browser history, I'd suggest using private browsing
(Ctrl+P or Ctrl+N). also download the Tor Browser and use that to mask your IP from your ISP, or else your Dad can find out when he goes to pay the bill.

if You live in the states, the NSA may already be keeping a record on your dealings, Delete all browser History, change/mask your mac & ad ID and hope for the best.

If you are saving files on your computer, hide the files or best save them on an external drive.

Well, in that case, I think you're in the clear.

Since he asked you if anyone had worked on your computer besides you, I don't think he'll entertain the possibility that it was you who looked up that pornography.

It is certain he must have had that though for a fleeting moment, but he discarded it quite a while before calling you.

Since you told him it wasn't you, he's very likely to have accepted your word.

I'm guessing this was the 1st time he caught you(of sorts), or have you successfully deflected previous inquiries as well?

Next time use private browsing and install McAfee on your computer to block unsafe sites, or just use your phone like I do. I bet he believed you because you're a girl, by the way.
