Car trip crazy, iin?

So I've been driving quite a bit (alone) recently to go home for the holidays and the like. The drive is about 4 hours or so and I've noticed that during the course of the trip I fluctuate wildly on an emotional level.

I will go from crying my eyes out to seething with anger. Then, about 15 minutes before getting to my destination, I just sort of stop and return to normal like nothing happened.

I really can't pin down any real reason for this and on a normal day, I never get angry or sad at all so it's extremely out of character.

I doubt this is normal, but has anyone experienced anything similar?

    I effing hate car trips, they induce anxiety and weeping in me.

    No. Maybe, it's something in the atmosphere or from your car that you're accidentally inhaling.
