    i had troubles learning because i had and still have fear of drowning, but when im drowning i go into 150% energy survival mode and swim, pretty damn good

      I took swimming lessons when I was younger and I still dont know how to swim. I have a fear of drowning -_-

        Well, I was about to talk about fear being the only good reason to not know how to swim, but then I disagreed with myself because I am sure there are people who just never got around to learning it as well, and I don't want to judge them either.

    I can't swim, loads of people have tried to teach me but it doesn't work -.- my body won't do it, I have a fear of drowning since I was little and almost did.

    I learned the old fashion way, they pushed me off the raft, while it was in the middle of the lake!
    I had to swim for my life!
    But, I didn't panic, I just thought about all the things I had learned by watching other people, and started doing the same.
    It worked! In no-time I was on the shore and looking back at how far I had swam!
    And for a boy of 6 years old and raised in the desert of El Paso, TX. I sure was proud of myself!

    yes i can swim in fact i am so floaty any time i dive i resurface within a few seconds how do you stay down.
