i had this recurring dream that i was at a restaurant with a young good looking Hispanic man. probably no more than 20. in the dream we would always have a polite conversation, like we were old friends. after having the dream on and off for a year i realized i was dreaming and would start to control what was going on like he would ask for the salt and i would pass it to him without touching it. make things move with my mind. talk to him using telepathy. the last dream i had of him he admitted to me he was my son (my 1st son died shortly after birth) that was the last time i dreamed of him. or controlled a dream... i wonder if by focusing my energy on him that i could see that young man one more time.
haha... srry rambling, but its definitely possible to lucid dream.

ok so you want an example...well the other night i was dreaming that people were after me (not sure who, just knew that if they got me bad stuff would happen), so i told myself in the dream "what are you worried about you're a werewolf" so i turned into a giant dog and started attacking my pursures....usually thats how i solve a bad dream, i either tell myslef that i can turn into a raven (or grow wings) or turn into a werewolf/dog/wolf and then i do

I'm not sure- I don't think so. I've been trying to astral project, though, even though I know this is different than what you're talking about...

I frequently make confusion between reality and dreams.

    I can recall one.
There was this place and it had like a volcano underground. There was a hole we had to fill with ice to stop people falling into it. At first this guy I love I was with fell in and I saw him in the lava and he said he loved me just before he died, but then I took control and I reversed time and filled the hole properly so he never fell in =D

I do that all the time! For example: sometimes I'm in a town, and just go to a bank and ask for like a billion dollars and use the money on what ever! Then I make this super hot girl pop out of no where and... Well... Then I wake up :(

I am often aware that I am dreaming, though not always, but I have no control over what happens

I can only do WILD (Wake Induced Lucid Dreaming) and I tend to just fly and make out with people (same thing everyone else does too, apparently XD). I always seem to wake up right when it starts getting steamy though. ;___; My lucid dreams aren't vivid enough that they're totally realistic or awesome, but they do help pass the time when I'm sleeping.

I used to be able to, but I can't seem to get a grip on it anymore.

Yes I do but only few times I had this experience but I couldn't be able to hold that state for more than few moments...
Infact what I have figured out (in my case only) that the dream has a read only script and if you want to modify it u get out of dream instantly...

e.g once a person was running after me he near to kill me suddenly I realized its a dream so I tried to kick his ass but instantly I woke up....

  • I've been told that if you thinking a few minutes about what you want to dream about usually it works. I've had times where i was thinking about a girl on purpose and I had a dream I with her in my dream. I try to keep my thoughts positive before I go to bed

  • I had a lucid dream not too long ago, where I was in a room with all of my friends, as well as my girlfriend, and we were the last people alive and we had to rebuild society. I remember that one I only became lucid about halfway through, when I noticed that the sun hadn't moved in 2 days. Of course, after that, my dream devolved rather rapidly into a huge sex romp. And I was Gambit (of the X-men) for the last bit of it. I don't remember where that fits in anywhere.

I did once. Imagined having sex with a prostitute and i decided "im gonna do it with the girl of my dreams" and it happened. Woke up instantly after cumming in my dream to find i have been jacking myself off when i was asleep -_-

Ive had about 4 lucid dreams that I can recall having in my life. when I was younger my first lucid dream took place at my house. My sister and friend were building a house with playing cards, I don't remember what triggered it but I just knew I was dreaming all of a sudden. I walked over to them and kicked their cards down. (I was younger at the time and it was very empowering)
I just recently had another one, I was looking in the mirror in the dream and realized I was dreaming. It didn't last long cause with lucid dreams I usually start to wakeup, it is very hard to stay in them for me.

I used to be able to when I was younger, but my recent attempts to have lucid dreams have failed. :( A shame because it was so much fun! I do recall one where I saw an eagle flying and flew up to join it.

Another one was when I was about 6 years old. In that one I helped a group of care bears by using the care bear stare on some bad guys. :) I tried dreaming the same thing again, but I never did. I had lucid dreams for a long time as a kid, before I even knew what they were.
