Can you get the red tag replaced on a pair of levis?

Levis sometimes puts only an "R" on the red tag. They do that to protect the idea of the label from other companies using it.

I just bought a pair of jeans like this, can I get the other type of Levis tag and have it changed or should I not bother?

Can a clothing alterations company do that?

Most of my Levis have the tag with just the "R". But what do you mean by "idea of the label"?

Levis say it is about copyright they do this. It is to stop other companies using the red label idea.

I am wondering if I like the Levis or if the Wrangler jeans I did try on in the shop look better.

They most likely don't replace it, but you should probably be asking the company that question. If they do, why waste money getting it altered? It's just a tag anyway. The jeans still function the same way.

I have decided to keep the pair I bought and hence why I am now asking about getting the tag replaced. Logical thinking.
