Can you draw or paint?

well i can recreate anything exactly perfect from a picture or still life in drawing an painting... but i realise now that is not really a talent... true art can be made from your own mind without references... i'm still practicing so i'd say i'm average. anyone can draw or paint just some need more patients when it comes to practicing

My mum is an artist so I think me and my sister got it from her. Both my mum and sister have sold their work. I generally just do it for myself and no-one else ever sees it, although that's not always been the case. All three of us have been inundated with commissions at various times in our lives so we all now largely keep schtum about any talent we have. I'm the same with music. As soon as people find out you play a few instruments, they're on at you to perform for them. For me, anything creative I do is purely personal. Oh, except my comic strip. That got published to the web, got a few fans who still ask for new strips, but ultimately died a death because I ran out of ways to subvert the medium. It was a lot of fun at the time, though.

I think a real piece of Art is made either accidentally, or with the fullest of the artist's heart~

Im not the best but my mother wiiiiigs about it.........i draw my own carecters-and by the way, everyone........do you ever feel like your family pretends to like your art, but they dont for real.......?

I can draw cartoons, and sometimes manga and anime. Everyone says my pictures are brilliant, but I'm not vain and I think they're just being polite.

i can draw realistic lookign animals but not humans. (i dont know why) when i last painted i recall it looked a lot like a 5 year old made it. *shrugs*

I love figure drawing, I'm taking a class in it right now. my job has finally figured out I'm good with design and so every time they need a flyer or poster done I'm called to do it! I love it!

I like to paint and draw but they aren't really my artistic forte. I make a lot of mosaics and do a lot with photography but I really like trying almost any form of art.

I have no talent as an artist but I am supremely jealous of those that are.

I can draw, specifically illustrate, well. One of those random skills that has turned out to be amazingly helpful in areas one might not think of, like science. It does look cool when you can illustrate your own paper or poster graphics to explain something.

My brother and dad can. Somehow the genes skipped me.

If I really try and put effort into it, I'm like, "I drew that?!" Other than that, it's shit :/.

i can draw but i cant paint very well. when i draw realistically, it always looks slightly different...i guess its just a matter of style, because everyone has their own style.

Love drawing so much. I've been practicing daily for 4 solid years, went through alot of art evolutions (change in drawing style) and along the way my art became more beautiful. But I have to admit, because of this, I work better with a pencil than a brush.

I'm aiming to be a pro, so I don't suck, obviously...but I'll only be amazing after i master every aspect of perspective/proportion and about 10 more years of experience....yeah, but that's with almost everyone :)

yes i can draw love to draw tattoo art as well as graffiti im trying to get into realism and trying to get better at my portraits skills.
