Yeah both my parents went to culinary college and my dad used to be a chef ( before the job made him hate cooking ) so from a young age I was in the kitchen, my mum was a fan of italian cuisine so we'd cool a lot of pasta ( her lasagne is the best thing I've ever tasted ) milanesa that sort of thing
My dad was a fan of Indian cuisine and all types of desserts so he taught me how to make a wide range of curries, some traditional family recipes from Indian co workers and then side dishes like chicken chaat and chana masala, I came up with my own curry at one point, a rich, tamarind and garam masala heavy sauce with a tiny, tiny amount of good quality, bitter dark chocolate, enough to give it a richness but not enough to give a recognisable taste of chocolate
Made a lot of eclairs, missisipi mud pie, florentines , all sorts, I don't cook as much as I used to, being broke isn't good for cooking, I plan on starting again though, I used to love setting up some Bluetooth speakers, putting an album on and cooking
Anyone can cook if they put their mind to it and have proper equipment/ingredients. Just read the directions on the back of the box or look up recipes online.
I like too cook and bake all sorts of meals for my family and friends :)
I cook exotic meals like curries, Chinese and jerk (West Indian) seasoned things, and of course any seafood. The spicier the better!
I cook pretty well most of the time, but when I mess up, it's tragic.
I'm either Bobby Flay or whatever atrocity is at the other end of the spectrum.
Anyone can cook the question is, is it edible? Most of my food is decent but one time I tried to make calamari..., rubber bands anyone?
I want to learn how to cook ethnic food so bad. I would love the prepare Mediterranean or Indian food since they are the ones I consider the tastiest.
