Can woman change her mind

If a previously ugly guy becomes more attractive, and women saw him before as unattractive and we're turned off by it, but now see his improvements with his looks, can they now turn from not being attracted to him to being attracted to him? Or will they never become attracted too him now no matter how much the improvements because of originally seeing him as unattractive?
