I wish I could wear dresses or clothes that are a bit revealing but I don't because of course I'm going to get looks from creepy guys or old pervs. That's the main reason why I don't wear them, and I also don't like wearing them around family because my family has wondering eyes too. It's so damn embarrassing and makes me uncomfortable, but there are occasions I have to dress up.

Is it normal for me to feel this way? Similar experiences?

    Guys will be perving at you regardless if you're wearing a bikini, a dress, a burqa, a suit or a ski jacket. Don't worry about it and just wear what you want :)

    My girl friend is the same way. she doesnt liek to look too girly either . i think she looks very cute in jeans and converse and im sure ou would be too :o

    I agree with greenhouse. However, if you want to wear something a little more revealing then go for it. Just try to surround yourself with people you really trust and forget about everyone else. There's always going to be someone that makes you feel uncomfortable, but you shouldn't let them stop you. Just give it a shot. ;)

    There are plenty of nice clothes out there that aren't in the least bit revealing.
