Is it normal that when I take a shower, I can't swallow? Well, it's not that I can't physically swallow but for some reason I just don't, without even thinking about it I spit instead like I'm really uncomfortable swallowing. And I noticed that when I take a bath I do the same thing, and also when I'm outside in the rain.
yes, it's much easier to love something that can't hurt you. humans are fragile creatures and can tend to hide their feelings deep inside without realizing it. when my daddy died, I never cried. I don't even remember that time very well. All I remember is what my mom has told me.The brain is a tricky thing. it can hide your memories, change them, camouflage your feelings or even hide them. all to protect you from the pain. if you feel numb about anything, just remember this.
I use to do that but it was becuse im a really big germiphobe id even spit in a cup till it was full empty it repeat i have alot of fucked up ocd's im just cool like tht ;P
omg i think i got that too!! i always spit my saliva down the drain, it just feels more comfortabe for some reason... but i never spit anywhere when i'm not in the shower
This will require some further investigation. Try forcing yourself to swallow in the shower or bath or outside in the rain. Keep trying until you do it. Then let us know what happens. Thanks.
I've had a similar problem like this, but all the time. My case is that my anxiety tweaks with these daily activities.
