Can't stop folding and tearing paper.

For some reason, it feels really, really good to fold a piece of paper in half repeatedly until it's barely staying in one piece. Then, tear it in half.

Then, do the same thing to those two pieces. Fold repeatedly, and tear.

I stack the small pieces I make in a pile. Sometimes it's squares, sometimes it's triangles...

But the thing is, it feels so good on my fingers, and it helps me relax...

I have been doing the same thing since I was a child, any piece of paper I got had of I would fold into squares tiny squares and then rip them up and then do it again,,, I have to say I do a little OCD so I don't know if this is part of it, I have to have sound on an even number, I have to have the windows in my car open at the same place, and I can not leave a draw open or a chair out of place, I don't like things moved and will not settle until, I have got them how they were, I like things to be even.

So I don't think I'm unusual so I think all is fine,,,

everyone does things to relax and calm themselves down. what your doing is a lot better then smoking, but people would say smoking is more "normal".

I'm having trouble even believing this. Six or seven is about the most times you can fold any sheet in half, and it would be virtually impossible to tear in half without unfolding it first.
