Can't stand escalators standers!

Is it normal I can't stand being behind someone standing on an escalator. I know they move, but it would be so much better and faster if people would walk!! That way the stairs and moving, and so are the people! I hate getting stuck behinds standers and slow people!

The rule is 'stand to the right, walk on the left' (in England as far as i know), by this rule you should be able to walk past people who stand. I've seen some escalators which have stairs next to them, use 'em.

I so agree. I actually sometimes say loudly to the person I'm with how ESCALATORS ARE FOR MAKING THINGS GO FASTER...
I've even seen people standing around on the moving walkways in airports. Those are for people who need to get to their plane in a hurry for god's sake!
Plus, ELEVATORS are for when you just want to stand.
    Case has been closed!

I'm the opposite. I hate walkers. I usually take the stairs and only take the escalator is I'm really tired, in which case I'm not going to move.

I used to be like that. It's not worth it. Just take a few deep breaths and relax. You'll give yourself an ulcer.
