Can't get out of bed for 2 hours after waking up

Can't get out of bed for 2 hours after waking up. I just feel really tired even if I get enough sleep, maybe it's because of depression and stress, I find it real struggle to get out of my bed getting up, it usually takes me 1-2 hours before I finally do it. I can afford to do this because I work from home in case anyone wonders. Anyone else can't get out of bed for long time after waking up? Anyone else tired to live? Is it normal?

  • I meant I get enough of sleep and have no want to sleep more, I just can't get out of the bed for 2 hours, I just chill doing pretty much nothing before I find power in myself to get out

    You should take up that issue with your doctor. I'd be wrong for me to speculate.

    I do the same, except I sleep for those 2 more hours. I do it more when I'm kind of depressed or just really drained and don't have anywhere to be at a particular time. If I do have somewhere to be in this state I procrastinate until the last minute or convince myself that I can just take a break from life that day. I shouldn't listen to my illogical sleep self though. This past week I've been trying to convince myself before bed that waking up when my alarm goes off is worth it and that has helped so far, before I couldn't even remember hearing my alarm, but I have to really concentrate. This morning I slept in because I was exhausted and I don't feel like taking my sister to the grocery store... I've been struggling with this since childhood, but I think it's possible to overcome. We are creatures of habit, once we make a habit of something it becomes more automatic.

    if i sleep more than about 6 hours I can't wake up even if I set multiple alarms... But 6 and under I feel totally fine So maybe you have a set amount like that...Or else you're just not a "morning person"... It's a real thing, that I've heard it's due to metabolism...some peoples' take more time to "wake up"
