Can't get high and had weird stroke-like reaction to weed

My friend has always had an issue with getting high. She has tried bongs, pipes, joints, one hitters and vaporizers and has smoked around 30 times. Despite her inhaling properly (trust me she is inhaling every time) she never gets high. Although her eyes get droopy (not bloodshot), she gets bad cotton mouth and she gets really tired but she has never felt that 'high feeling'. Its almost as if only some aspects of the high are being activated?

Anyways, last night, determined to get her high, we through in roughly .5 grams of the highest grade weed i could find into my stationary vape, and while i was having the greatest high ive had in a while, she still felt nothing for a good half hour. At first she said that everything was suddenly spinning and she might be feeling a little nauseous (i thought she might be greening out). But then she starts complaining of extremely painful pressure in her head; as if it were crushing inwards. I turned off the lights and laid her down in hopes of helping but she just laid there unwilling to move or speak. Then she started feeling pins and needles accompanied by numbness on one side of her body; she said the sensations were switching from side to side. When i asked which side it was feeling numb right now, she thought about it for a second as if it were not completely clear to her, and then she replied "left". At this point i had peaked and was experiencing a great euphoric high (so i know its not the weed). After i asked her if she was still feeling nauseous she said "yeah but only in my head"; not exactly sure what she meant by that.. Now its the next day and all the symptoms are gone. Im still concerned about the situation just because its so unusual. (by the way, she still didn't even get that high feeling. only nausea/spinning room feeling). i'm just curious to know if anyone has encountered anything similar and if they know what it might be. I spent at least an hour on the internet and no one seems to have had this experience. The only thing i could match her symptoms too is a stroke; but would this even be plausible? she is 18 years of age (healthy, average weight/height). I'm also concerned because she is interested in psychedelics, but i worry about how it might affect her. Any insight is helpful!

18 year olds can have a stroke. Seek medical advice sooner rather than later.

Both a friend of mine and I have experienced similar phenomena, and we're both still off the reefer. Some people just react badly to getting way too high
